Final Excitement in Şükrü Şankaya Friendship Tournament
The “Şükrü Şankaya Friendship Tournament”, which is traditionally organized to keep the memory of the late Şükrü Şankaya, the founder of Yeşim Group, alive, was held in an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and friendship this year. The founder, who was commemorated on the 20th anniversary of his passing, was once again remembered with respect, love and longing with his people-oriented vision and the value he gave to sports.
In the tournament held within the scope of the organization, the Düz Boya (Flat Paint) team won the championship, while the Makine Enerji Bakım (Machine Energy Maintenance) team came second and the I am Perfect team came third. Watermelon, the team that reflected the spirit of fair-play on the field the most, was awarded the most gentlemanly team award. The top scorer of the tournament was Cihat Kaçar, who drew attention with his outstanding performance.
The participation of four different women's football teams in the tournament this year added a special value to the organization. All teams completed the matches within the framework of the principles of friendship, respect and sportsmanship.
