Youth and Volunteering Summit at Yeşim Group

As part of the social responsibility projects carried out in line with Yeşim Group's corporate philosophy of “People First”, the fourth Youth and Volunteering Summit was organized this year. At the meeting held at the company's headquarters in Bursa, approximately 120 students who received volunteering training in cooperation with SosyalBen Foundation and Bursa Contemporary Education and Culture Foundation (ÇEKVAK) came together. Students from Şükrü Şankaya Anatolian High School, Bursa Boys' High School, 3 March Ziya Ulviye Özer Anatolian-Science High School, Automotive Industry Exporters' Association Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Uludağ University presented their social responsibility activities throughout the year and developed project ideas for sustainable development goals.

Speaking at the opening of the summit, Yeşim Group executives emphasized the place of volunteering in corporate culture and the importance of the bond established with young people, while ÇEKVAK representatives stated that these projects strengthen the awareness of social entrepreneurship and sustainability in young people. In the afternoon sessions, group workshops at Yeşim Academy transformed students' creative ideas into concrete social benefit projects. At the end of the summit, the three most successful projects were awarded, and the program is planned to be traditionalized to include more students and schools in the coming years.
