Steps Taken for Goodness were Rewarded
Yeşim Group, which adopts social responsibility as one of the core values of its corporate culture, honored its employees who supported a meaningful volunteering movement that contributes to equal opportunity in education. Three Yeşim employees who collected the most donations by participating in the charity runs organized for the benefit of the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) Şükrü Şankaya Scholarship Fund, which keeps the name of our founder alive, were awarded with plaques at a special ceremony. Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya presented plaques to all runners who participated in the run.
Yeşim Group Board Member Mustafa Demiralay, Fabric Operations VP Kerim Bayram and Co-CEO Assistant Serpil Soykan were presented plaques by Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya and Co-CEO Selim Şankaya for raising the highest donations by running in the Istanbul Marathon, Runtalya Marathon and 11th Eker I Run. Thanks to the scholarship fund raised through these voluntary contributions, the one-year education expenses of 40 female university students were covered.
