Joint Step Towards a Social Responsibility Platform in Bursa
Under the leadership of Yeşim Group and moderated by Prof. Dr. Rüyam Küçüksüleymanoğlu from Uludağ University Faculty of Education, a significant step has been taken towards establishing a collaborative social responsibility platform in Bursa. Hosted by LÖSEV (The Foundation for Children with Leukemia), the workshop titled “The First Step Towards the Bursa Social Responsibility Platform” gathered representatives from the private sector and civil society to discuss practical steps for building a sustainable model of social impact. LÖSEV’s Bursa Provincial Coordinator Aslı Metin Sakarya highlighted the importance of projects like the newly established Children’s Science and Nature Village Institute, while Yeşim Group’s Corporate Communications Director Dilek Cesur reiterated the company’s commitment to fostering impactful solutions aligned with its “People First” philosophy.
The workshop concluded with a strong shared commitment to launching a permanent platform aimed at uniting private sector and civil society efforts under a common vision, shaped by Goal 17th of the Sustainable Development Goals, “Partnerships for the Goals.” Details regarding the platform’s name and operational scope are expected to be finalized at the next session planned for September, paving the way for innovative projects that will generate meaningful social value for Bursa and the wider community.
