Yeşim Group’s Sustainability Academy Celebrates Its First Graduates
In line with its sustainability vision, Yesim Group has successfully completed its Sustainability Academy, a comprehensive training program launched for the first time this year with the aim of strengthening knowledge and capabilities across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics throughout the organization.
As part of the Sustainability Academy, key focus areas included environmental impact management, carbon footprint calculation and reduction, social compliance, responsible supply chain practices, and sustainable production approaches. While supporting an ESG perspective aligned with the expectations of globally operating brands, the program aimed to increase employees’ awareness of sustainability and provide knowledge that can be effectively integrated into daily business processes.
Employees who successfully completed the training sessions delivered by Yeşim Group Sustainability Director Mutlu Toksöz received their certificates at a ceremony presented by Co CEO Selim Şankaya. Going beyond technical knowledge sharing, the Academy offered a strong framework on how sustainability targets can be embedded into corporate decision making processes, production approaches, and long term value creation.
Viewing sustainability not merely as a project area but as an integral part of corporate governance and business practices, Yeşim Group aims to further strengthen the reflection of its ESG strategy across operations and human capital through the Sustainability Academy. In this context, the Group will continue to encourage active employee engagement through knowledge based and participatory learning models.
